A booking is confirmed only once we receive the required payment and send you a confirmation (email or message). Customer cancellations: If you cancel a booking, refunds (if any) depend on: how far in advance you cancel; type of service; terms of third‑party providers. SMN cancellations or changes: We may need to modify or cancel bookings if unforeseen circumstances occur (weather, political unrest, natural disasters, road closures, etc.). We’ll inform you as soon as possible and offer alternatives or full refund where appropriate. Refunds will be processed via the method you used for payment wherever possible. Some bank or service fees may be non‑refundable.
Driver / Vehicle: When renting a car, you agree to use it responsibly, follow traffic laws, and keep it in safe condition. You may be liable for damages beyond normal wear & tear. Fuel and Mileage: Check whether fuel is included; if not, you’ll need to refill. Mileage limits (if any) will be specified. Extra charges apply if exceeded. Pick‑up & Drop‑off times & locations must be honored. Late returns may incur additional charges.
It is your responsibility to ensure you have valid documents (passport, visa, permits, ID) required for travel to the areas visited. Check health requirements (vaccinations, medicines) for your destination. Certain areas (e.g. Spiti, Ladakh, remote regions) may require special permits or conditions (acclimatization, fitness).
Adventure or pilgrimage tours, mountain travel etc., carry inherent risks (altitude sickness, road conditions, weather). You assume those risks when you travel. We recommend you have appropriate travel insurance covering medical emergencies, injury, evacuation. You must follow the instructions of guides / drivers, safety protocols, and any local regulations.
If you have a complaint (hotel / guide / car etc.), please report it immediately at the location so we can try to fix things on the spot. For issues not resolved on the trip, please contact us within [e.g. 7] days after your service ends, with full details (booking, what went wrong, photos if helpful). We will review and respond to complaints. Our liability is limited as described below.
SMN Tour and Travel acts as intermediary for many services. We are not fully responsible for third‑party services (hotels, local transport etc.). We do our best to represent services correctly (photos, descriptions) but cannot warrant accuracy in every detail (weather, conditions, etc.). To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability to you is limited to the amount you have paid us for that specific service. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses (e.g. loss of enjoyment, personal effects, etc.).
